Required Skills:
•Experience with ICD-9 or ICD-10 Diagnostic Coding required.
•Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
•Must have post-secondary business related education and/or experience in a business office environment.
•Proficient computer, data entry and typing skills required. Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.
•Experience operating standard office equipment including faxing and scanning
•Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate both in written and verbal form in English.
•Must have a current, valid Driver’s License.
•Self directed.
•Good organization skills.
•Must have good customer service skills.

Job Description:
We are looking for an outgoing, organized individual with previous experience in ICD-9 or ICD-10 Diagnostic Coding to join our team.

The Outreach Administrative Assistant is responsible in providing administrative/clerical assistance and support for the Home Care division.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Conducting home visits with clients
•Completing productivity reports and reviewing visit completion
•Monitoring physician calls and orders, signature follow-up, data entry and tracking and recording clinical/client information.
•Assisting clinical staff in the admission and ongoing data entry process including chart setup/prep, client data entry
•Physician order follow-up therapy documentation and daily charting.
•Coordinating staff and client scheduling and setting up the community emergency response team.
