Job Description:
Housing Advocates are responsible for assisting individuals and families in securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing options within the state of Minnesota. This role involves working closely with clients, community organizations, and government agencies to address housing needs and advocate for housing rights.
Housing Advocates typically work in office settings but may also spend time in the community, visiting clients and attending meetings with housing authorities and other organizations. Some evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate clients' schedules and participate in community events.
Housing Advocates play a crucial role in ensuring that all residents have access to safe and affordable housing. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
