Location: Coon Rapids, MN
Wage: $22 - $32/hr. Based on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am – 3:30 pm

Duties of the CNC machine operator: Set up and calibrate machinery before production starts Operate various shop equipment, including laser cutters, waterjets, punch presses, press brakes, shears, and forklifts Adjust machine settings for speed, feed, and tolerance as required Load materials into machines and monitor production cycles Use precision tools to inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met Perform routine checks to identify operational issues and troubleshoot as needed Document production outputs and track defective parts
Requirements of the CNC machine operator: Prior experience in machine operation and setup (laser, waterjet, punch press, press brake, or shear preferred) Comfortable with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Basic computer literacy Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting as needed Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Forklift experience (or willingness to obtain in-house certification)
