Required Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of ADA signage laws/requirements and ADA braille sign manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of the various materials and substrates available and used in ADA sign manufacturing, including plastics, acrylics, laminates, paints, tapes, etc.
- Ability to create customer sign proofs and production files through the use of either Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Expertise in computer graphics with familiarity of fonts, vectorization, bitmap manipulation, decimal equivalents, color management, etc.
- Sales and customer service experience required.
- Other sign experience helpful with general knowledge of parking signage, dimensional letters, cast plaques, vinyl letters, and digital printing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and construction specifications and blueprints.
- Proficient in Word, Google Docs, and Gmail
- Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and written, at all levels of an organization

Job Description:
SCS Sign Company is seeking an enthusiastic and professional “inside” sales account manager to be the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries regarding signs. SCS Sign is a manufacturer of architectural ADA braille signs, and a leader in e-commerce sales of ADA and other “code enforced” signage, including signs for elevators, stairwells, wayfinding, etc. This key position will drive company growth and maintain customer relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities would include:
- Respond to customer phone and email inquiries. Answer questions, address concerns, check on deliveries/deadlines, provide signage solutions, and submit pricing and quotations.
- Through examination of blueprints, floor plans, customer lists, etc., provide “take-offs” and recommended signage with quantities and pricing, along with estimated time of delivery.
- Prepare and create customer orders from our general “Order Processing” administration “dashboard.” Edit orders as necessary. Ensure payment. Obtain sales tax exempt information. Mangae customer PO’s. Follow orders from inception through manufacturing and to final delivery. Assure orders meet customer deadlines.
- Prepare order customer proofs and production files through the use of Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Obtain customer proof approval. Ensure production files are fully detailed and correct, to help eliminate production errors and questions.
- Follow-up on customers emails and inquiries, as well as past quotations. Identify and pursue new business, warm-call (phone), network and generate leads.
- Facilitate the fabrication & delivery of samples to customers
