BEP Lyman LLC dba Carpentry Contractors Company(ABC Panels) headquartered at 520 3rd Street, Ste. 200Excelsior, MN 55331phone number: (763) 658-4000, islooking to fill twenty (20) Team Assembler positionsfrom 04.01.2024 to 12.31.2024. This is for full time,peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Astruss assemblers, workers will work as part of a teamresponsible for assembling wood trusses for commercialand residential buildings. Workers will use acomponent saw to cut out truss, assemble wood trusson table, use hammers to apply steel gusset plates at all joints, using a large press to fasten steel gussets,according to work order and blueprint specifications.Workers will stack and band together finished woodtrusses and lumber to be prepared for delivery by usinga forklift to load and upload lumber and trusses on todelivery trucks. Training will be provided. Specialrequirements include: Six (6) months of assembly orrelated experience. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs75 yds. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre-employment, post-accident, and/or other random drugtesting. The pay rate is $20.19 per hour with overtime availableat $30.29 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours perweek from Mon-Thurs - 5:00AM to 3:30PM (w/ 30 minlunch), 2nd shift Mon-Wed 4:00PM to 4:30AM andThurs 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (w/ 30 min lunches). Jobopportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Dailytravel to worksites in the area of intended employmentis required. The requested temporary workers will bebased at 100 Zephyr Avenue, Montrose, MN 55363 andwill service clients within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI BLS/MSA, including the countiesof Wright County. Employer provides transportation toand from all worksites. Single workweek will be used in computing wages due.Pay period is weekly. Employer provides housing to theworkers at a weekly payroll deduction of $85.00.Housing is optional. Employer provides transportationto the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $15.00.Employer will make all deductions required by law. Employer may deduct the reasonable cost of damages and/or replacement of tools and/or equipment if such repair or replacement results from willful neglect or gross negligence after the damage has occurred and after gaining the employee's written authorization to make the deduction. Also, the employer may deduct the reasonable cost of negligent damage to lodging facilities and vehicles after damage has occurred and after gaining the employee's written authorization to make the deduction.. The offered housing is optional toworkers. Transportation, including meals and, to theextent necessary, lodging, to the place of employmentwill be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by acompany check, separate from the payroll check, if theworker completes half of the employment period. If theworker completes 50% of the work contract period,employer will arrange and pay directly fortransportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of work. Upon completion ofthe work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for worker'sreasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back to home or to the place the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the workerwill not return due to subsequent employment withanother employer. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomically and reasonable common carrier for thedistance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided ata rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of$59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in thefirst work week for all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government, incurred by the H-2Bworker (but not included passport expenses or othercharges primarily for the benefit of the worker). Theemployer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools,supplies, and equipment required to perform the joband on the job training in the proper use of tools andequipment. The employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays ineach 12-week period of the total employment periodonly to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by theDepartment of Labor. As of the date of this posting, thethree-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
