| Required Skills: | What You’ll Need to Succeed:
-Hold a valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
-Must be able to maneuver in tight spaces as needed, not all customers will have traditional loading bays.
-Must have experience driving an automatic and manual transmissions truck.
-Experience driving open and enclosed semi-trailers.
-Must have experience backing into a loading bay and bumping docks.
-Must have experience engaging with customers.
-Experience and certification in the operation of forklifts and aerial lift equipment.
-Must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
-This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
-Will load, unload, and secure heavy material handling equipment.
-Frequent climbing on and off the trailer.
This position will work in a variety of environments (cold, heat, rain, etc.). |

Atlas Toyota Material Handling, part of the Atlas Companies, is an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer committed to providing quality service, premium equipment, and innovative solutions for companies of all sizes.
We are currently hiring a full-time CDL Class A Certified Truck Driver. Our delivery drivers have an integral part in creating customer satisfaction by safely delivering forklifts, and other heavy material handling equipment to and from the dealership. This position will not only drive/deliver, they will also be responsible for loading and unloading all equipment for delivery, including properly securing each load with equipment provided. This person will be working in a variety of environments, including outdoors during all types of weather (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
Your New Role:
-Responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of heavy equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, floor cleaning equipment, etc.)
-Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner at all times; following all safety and conduct rules.
-Will provide excellent customer service. This role interacts directly with customers, handling paperwork and confirming equipment is in proper working condition and delivered as expected. This role may be required to provide demonstration of equipment for delivery.
-Will follow daily delivery/pick up schedule, and at times handling the scheduling. Reports unexpected situations or delays that may occur throughout the day.
-This role will be required to complete paperwork as needed including daily driver’s logs.
-Maintain the interior and exterior of company assigned vehicles and reports any damage or irregularities to management.
-Required to know and observe all Department of Transportation compliance regulations, including but not limited to weight and height restrictions.
-Will drive local daytime routes in the Minneapolis area, Monday through Friday.
