<p>Customer Service Representative - Job Description<br />The customer service representative is responsible for providing effective customer service for all<br />internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products as well<br />as communicating effectively with co-workers within the organization - sales, inventory management,<br />warehousing and distribution, product specialists, and technical support.</p><p>Job Tasks:<br />- Serve customers in the high technology industry by providing timely and accurate product<br />information; maintain effective customer relationship<br />- Ensure customer orders are processed and filled per the customers' requirements.<br />- Coordinate activity with inventory management, warehouse and distribution, production facility,<br />and accounts receivable.<br />- Resolve product or service performance issues by clarifying the customer's complaint;<br />determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the<br />problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.<br />- Contribute to team effort through identification and effective implementation of process and<br />system improvements as well as backup to other Customer Service Representatives.<br />- Prepare product and service performance reports by collecting and analyzing customer data.<br />- Update and maintain customer accounts in ERP system. </p><p>Requirements:<br />- Minimum 2-3 years customer service experience in an office environment<br />- 1-2 years college or technical education; College degree desired<br />- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. <br />- Experience an ERP system strongly preferred<br />- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing high<br />customer satisfaction with superior service.<br />- Strong interpersonal and communications - verbal, written communication and active listening<br />skills <br />- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve customer issues with a sense of urgency.<br />- Demonstrated ability to follow through, manage multiple accounts, provide sales support and<br />multitask while maintaining order accuracy. </p><p>- Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills <br />- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities<br /> <br />- Self-starter, self-motivated and consistent performer at a high level.<br />- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a positive attitude.<br />- Must be able to pleasantly and professionally interact with a variety of professionals internally<br />and externally. </p><p>Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
