The Program Director manages the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program, which includes supporting system-level data-driven policymaking; supporting sexual misconduct program development for students, staff, and faculty; consistent convening of stakeholders to facilitate critical collaborations for effective prevention and response; and overall monitoring and evaluation of sexual misconduct prevention, reduction, and response efforts and their effectiveness/trends over time.

The Program Director will report to the Associate Vice President for Institutional Engagement and Educational Justice in the Office of Equity and Diversity, and is accountable to an Oversight Committee comprised of the following members of the President's Senior Leadership Team, including:
Executive Vice President and Provost

Connecting to national peers to advance prevention science and best practices, documenting and reporting out University progress toward prevention benchmarks
Consulting with senior leadership about institutional priorities to prevent, reduce, and respond to sexual misconduct, and advising senior leaders, faculty governance, student leadership and other partners on evidence-based efforts, progress, and challenges
Advising senior leaders on University sexual violence prevention, reduction, and response progress to the President via the Program Oversight Committee
Building collaborative internal and external relationships, with an established process for convening representatives from all key units with relevant responsibilities (e.g., Provost, Equity and Diversity, Human Resources, Student Affairs, Research, Clinical Affairs)
Supporting an effective sexual misconduct prevention, reduction, and response strategy for the University, including instituting and maintaining regularly scheduled required training in collaboration with University partners, and doing so with efficiency and within budgetary parameters
Developing and convening workgroups or committees as needed to achieve specific program deliverables
Developing and implementing strategies to strengthen sexual misconduct prevention, reduction, and response programing for the University, including drawing from effective programs nationally and consulting with faculty and other stakeholders
Catalyzing further change by coordinating and facilitating actions of the multiple offices involved in implementing actions to prevent sexual misconduct and intersecting with other efforts that promote a safe and respectful workplace
Collaborating with community stakeholders to identify and evaluate on a continuing basis key goals and metrics related to the intended outcomes, such as reduction of sexual harassment in the workplace, reduction of sexual assault among undergraduates, and support of victim-survivors by trauma-informed, institutionally provided services
Convening faculty, staff and students to obtain guidance regarding the actions that will be most effective in preventing sexual misconduct
Advising vice presidents and other key leaders and policy owners in developing a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, and guidelines designed to manage or address sexual misconduct issues, including sanctions development and victim support, in collaboration with faculty and staff governance bodies, as well as students and relevant community stakeholders
