Staffmark is hiring experienced Local Delivery Drivers for a major food subscription service in Brooklyn Park, MN 55428
PART TIME - 3 DAYS A WEEK
Pay:$23.50 / hr.
Shift:
3 DAYS A WEEK
7:00 AM start time; shifts are usually 10 to 12 hours long.
SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY
OR
THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY
We supply the vehicles and gas card!
We will also train you! (vehicle, operations, safety etc)
Job Description:
Deliver small boxes/packages that weigh up to 35 pounds.
Local routes are typically within a 100-mile radius of the warehouse.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
This site DOES require the 6 months previous Sprinter Van, Box Truck, or similar experience in DELIVERY SERVICES.
Responsibilities:
Operate a Cargo Van / Sprinter Van to deliver products to customers in an assigned route
Deliver between 80-120 boxes daily
Understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
Transport boxes of perishable items, perform accurate deliveries, manage schedules and ensure accurate inventory counts
Maintain proper delivery logs and handheld records
Confirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest document
Communicate with dispatch as needed
Requirements:
Must be at least 22 years old
6+ months of previous job related driving experience
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Have a clean driving record
Can work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
High School Diploma or GED preferred
