Plus Relocation Services is thrilled to partner with Upward Mobility, a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) Diversity Internship Program. Upward Mobility is a unique industry-wide program that has been developed to provide underserved students with access to formative work experiences with industry leading organizations in the field of employee mobility. Plus Relocation is excited to welcome an intern to our organization in an opportunity to gain a full understanding of our industry, and the business cycle in which we work together within our organization.
Summary:
Throughout this 10-week program, the intern will have the opportunity to shape the course of their career through this unique, hands-on learning. Partnering with each of our core business areas, they will learn about the valuable roles and responsibilities of each department, and how they partner together across the organization to support our clients as we deliver delight. Each business unit will include training regarding their department functionality and process.

What does success look like for the intern at the end of the summer?
Upon successful completion, the intern will leave Plus Relocation with a well-rounded view of the full
business cycle within our industry, that can be applied to their future career goals.
Available to College Students who are juniors or seniors in the 2023-2024 school year.
Timing: 10 weeks; June- August 2023
Number of hours/week: 35
Business hours: 9:00am-5:00pm M-F
Hourly wage: $15.00/hour
Internship work address: Plus Relocation, 600 hwy 169 south, suite 500; Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55426

Role Responsibilities:
Regularly interact with all levels of management, interact with internal and external partners, staff, and customers
Perform operational and administrative functions and gain professional experience and exposure to the industry in which we work
Gain exposure to the overall business environment
Analyze data and create reports to help inform and drive the business
Conduct literature reviews and research to support projects
Under direct supervision of a mentor, learn and develop skills valuable to maneuvering the business environment
This opportunity may include policy/procedure review, researching benchmarks and best practices, and providing recommendations to leadership to assist with various initiatives
For all Upward Mobility positions: Additionally, you may be required to participate in group project activities with other interns during work hours.
