Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Manages the financial affairs of the facility including preparation of financial analyses of operations, interim and final financial statements and supporting schedules.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Manages the Accounting Department to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports and analyses including, but not limited to, internal and external financial statements, balance sheets, audits and budgets.
Manages Accounts Receivable to ensure the accurate and timely billings, cash receipts application, aging analyses, federal and state reports and all other factors contributing to working capital and our funding analyses and reporting.
Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value.
Aids in summarizing and forecasting company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge.
Focused quality orientation with outstanding attention to detail.
Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
Effective and willing communicator.
Strong team player.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial or Business Administration.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and XA or related software.
Cost Accountant.
Accounts Management.
Accounts Payable
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sitting or standing as needed.
Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
Reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Entrans International LLC.
