Required Skills:
- Typing and word processing skills sufficient to produce quality documents and reports in an efficient manner.
- Knowledge of and ability to use various office software such as Microsoft Word for Windows/Microsoft Outlook (i.e. Email, schedule meetings) Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn databases/workflows to include Onbase and Tempo.
- Ability to scan multiple page documents and utilize multi-function devices (scanner/copier/printer/laminator).
- Data entry skills sufficient to enter data efficiently and with accuracy.
- Customer service and human relation skills in order to treat customers and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
- English skills sufficient to understand written instructions and provide information to customers and staff.
- Time management skills sufficient to balance and prioritize daily incoming work.

Job Description:
This position will perform general administrative support to the Industrial and Municipal Divisions at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency in the St. Paul office. The position will primarily support the compliance and enforcement functions. Responsibilities include processing documents in Tempo database, general typing, editing, proofreading, photocopying, filing, data entry, (electronic document management system, scanning and PDF documents) and coordinating large mailings. This position has back-up responsibilities for processing the incoming and outgoing mail for the Industrial and Municipal Divisions. This position may also include other general administrative tasks as assigned.
