Job Description: |
This role contributes to financial performance, operating efficiency, and customer satisfaction by implementing or operationalizing the Company's strategic business plans. This role leads business operations activities for an SBU, function (i.e. Sales, Service), or region by directing the work of an operating center or team.
About the Role:
In this opportunity you will:
Identify concrete improvement levers, design optimal transformation approaches, and implement compelling channel framework and process recommendations to improve go-to-market customer experience model, Sales and Customer success digital sales and renewals, and overall customer satisfaction
Enhance prospecting, sales, renewal, and revenue performance across SMB Corporates
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Provide guidance to SMB Corps organization via industry and TR leading digital and prospecting leading practices
Works with the SMB Leadership Team to define and implement channel strategy
Represent and promote SMB Digital interests (digital marketing spend, demand generation efforts, digital capability build, user experience design, etc.) to ensure expense prioritization and generate optimal sales, renewals, and revenue
Advance commercial evolution by influencing the simplification, transparency and operationalization of digital oriented product and pricing strategies
Advocate and guide the development of SMB specific digital content and user experiences to optimize performance and increase personalization across the end-to-end customer journey
Facilitate agile working and standard governance with Digital business partners (Product, Technology, Marketing, Channel) to ensure a uniform operating cadence
Assess performance of existing distribution models and derive implication of transformations through a customer-centric approach
Design target operating models on distribution related topics (e.g., omni, digital, etc.)
Diagnose current performance of sales related KPIs (e.g., sales, renewals, revenue, coverage, up and x-sell, client satisfaction) and identify improvement levers
Define suitable sales formats to support strategic objectives
Optimize sales and client management processes to improve overall performance, ensure compliance and suitability within the risk framework and increase client centricity
Develop and execute an SMB strategic channel effectiveness framework
Partner with TR Digital Office and Customer Experience to benchmark, develop and deploy best in class go to market workflow and processes
Enable technologies and vendors (SFDC, Kronologic, Teams, Gainsight, etc) to design and implement a best-in-class prospecting engine; oversee strategies and tactics (sequencing, frequency, etc.) to increase sales
Leverage digital and nearshore resources to ensure channel effectiveness tactics (territory composition, coverage models, customer ratios, campaigns, leads, trials, on-boarding, training, usage, renewals, saves, activities, webinars) are scaled, resourced, timely and operational
Rationalize coverage models to ensure standardization, simplification, coordination, and completeness (Sales, Client Management, AAE, Digital Assist, etc.)
Build, monitor, analyze and refine channel effectiveness reporting (campaigns, coverage, usage, performance and insights)
Partner with SMB Leadership and TR Business Partners (Marketing, Chief Digital Office, Customer Experience, Operations & Technology)
Develop standards for baseline customer contact frequency, purpose, and content
Identify segment/team/representative best practices and cascade learning across the greater organization
Track and report on utilization, consistency, and effectiveness of channel effectiveness application
Suggest changes and solutions in policy and procedures when necessary
Assume other responsibilities as required or requested by SMB Leadership
About You:
You're a fit for the role if you have:
BA degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field required; MBA Preferred
Minimum of 10 years marketing, sales, or equivalent general business management experience required
Legal, tax or comparable business experience preferred
Sales and Client Management background
Digital, Inside and Field channel experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Management of individual contributors
Ability to interact effectively with a professional client base
Strong attention to detail
Ability to recognize and suggest process improvements within assigned area of responsibility
Good problem solving skills
Professional attitude and integrity
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, E-mail management tools and aptitude for internal business systems
