| Job Description: |
This job posting is for the Bethany on the Lake Assisted Living facility in Alexandria, MN.
Shift Availability:
- Evening Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Part time with Every other Weekend and Holiday
- Evening Shift 4:00pm-9:30pm Part time with Every other Weekend and Holiday
- Overnight Shift Part time with Every other Weekend and Holiday
The RCA-NA/R position provides quality, direct resident care in all activities of daily living including; dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning. With direction from the Licensed professional Nurse in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the RCA-NA/R provides individualized physical, psychological and social support to residents while maintaining dignity and achieving their optimal level of functioning. The RCA-NA/R interacts with family, visitors and other health care providers while implementing the plan of care for residents.
Duties:
Dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, walking and positioning of Residents. Assists Nurse with special procedures such as height, weight,collecting urine and stool samples, catheter care, monitors and records vital signs, provides care of body after death. Participates in care conference as requested by nurse. Reports to Nurse, changes in resident's condition. With direction from the Nurse in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the RCA-NA/R provides individualized physical, psychological and social support to residents while maintaining dignity and achieving their optimal level of functioning. Ensures safe environment for residents and staff.
This position is strictly prohibited from operating or assisting with mechanical lifts of any kind and is designed specifically for individuals between the ages of 16-18 who have these restrictions.
