Job Description:
Manufacturing Machine Operator

$15.50 per hour
1st and 2nd Shifts Available

Qualifications/Skills:

Sets up, adjusts, and operates printing machines and prepares items processed for the next routing step. Ensures that only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers.

Efficiently operates semi-automated printing machines, inspects product to ensure quality, and packs finished goods to ensure order accuracy and meet customer expectations.

Measures, centers, aligns and positions screens for proper operation
Examines product for ink smears, position of design, print clarity, color accuracy or other defects and adjusts equipment accordingly
Ensures that the proper supplies (both bill of Material and non-Bill of Material items) are being used for printing
Reads and follows Manufacturing Orders to make sure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy and layout)
May package product for shipping, making sure proper box size and packing procedures are followed and ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship to our customers
Changes tooling to accommodate the product to be printed
Monitors pre-treatment process for proper adhesion
Monitors automatic feeding systems for maximum output
Completes DCT reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed, including production log of quantity produced, scrap and related information
Performs preventive maintenance duties, such as daily cleaning and lubricating.
Maintains effective working relationships with other associates
Maintains a clean and neat work area
Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement.
Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments consistent with business needs
Performs duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor/management
