Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is preferred (i.e. Computer Science or Engineering)
• 7+ years of document control and product configuration management experience in a highly regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, aeronautics, or automotive)
• Experience in a contract manufacturing environment with high mix low volume electronic circuit board products or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience utilizing INFOR XA or a similar ERP system which includes an EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) system to manage new product inductions and product revision changes / change management.
• Strong technical and leadership skills in the areas of Document Control management, methodology and process to successfully deploy and manage a Document Control Program across both engineering product documentation and QMS documentation.
• Basic Knowledge/Experience of PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) systems (Agile, Windchill or equivalent) OR SolidWorks Enterprise Product Data Management (ePDM) systems
• Experience with SolidWork, AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.
• Experience with MS SharePoint
• Experience with Aegis / Factory Logix
• Experience with ISO and other approval body certification audits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, internet, e-mail, faxing and scanning
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, customer contracts, reports, standards, guidance documents, and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze reports

Job Description:
AbelConn, a Celestica company, is a global Center of Excellence for the Aerospace, Defense, ITAR, Licensing and HealthTech industries.
Our business is growing and we recently moved into a new state-of-the-art facility located in Maple Grove, MN that offers world-class manufacturing, engineering, and product lifecycle services.
This position is cross between traditional Engineering Document Control and ERP technical support. It will focus on the control of documents and data to ensure the proper program releases to manufacturing with a complete understanding of how that data will be utilized by other departments for successful builds and shipment of customer orders.

The Process Leader, PDM/Configuration Management position will work with all entities, departments, and projects to ensure that company QMS documents and program part numbers, bill of materials, routings and other necessary documentation / data is properly entered, released, revised and maintained within INFOR XA (ERP System) and other network locations while remaining compliant to all internal and external procedures and regulatory requirements. They will have an influential role in the continued development of new and existing procedures related to documentation control and NPI (New Product Introduction) within the AbelConn organization.

• Oversees and has process ownership authority over the Document Control / Configuration Management Program including; ECR (Engineering Change Requests), ECN (Engineering Change Notifications), Network File Management for Controlled Documents, QMS Process Updates, TCO (Temporary Change Orders), Deviations, External Standards Maintenance, EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management) / Product Configuration Data within INFOR XA (ERP System).
• Continuously reviews and updates document control procedures to ensure compliance with the latest good documentation practices, applicable regulations and standards for document review, approval, release, retrieval, storage, and retention.
• Department Expert for INFOR XA – EPDM processes including; Product Revision Changes (Items / BOMs / Routings), Implementation Status, Effectivity Dates and Facility Codes / Work Centers.
• Works directly with IT/IS and ERP Support teams to maintain good data and document control and helps develop plans to perform system updates and changes as necessary.
• Maintains and ensures accuracy and data integrity of the INFOR XA – EPDM Data.
• Works with Engineering during the NPI process to structure new parts as they are developed, providing guidance and reviews of BOMs and Routings to ensure that meet document control standards and best practices.
• Works with authors, reviewers, and approvers in a positive, collaborative manner to ensure change processes are routed, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner and that each department is following appropriate standard work to ensure a complete review and closure of actions prior to processing such changes.
• Works with Cost Accounting, Engineering, Purchasing and Operations to ensure that all product cost data related to BOMs, Routings (Facility Codes & Labor Estimates), Component Costs are accurately reported and rolled prior to release of any product revision changes.
• Assists Production, Planning and Inventory Control to ensure accuracy in Work Order and Inventory transactions.
• Leads the establishment, automation and reporting of system metrics for the Document Control / Configuration Management Program processes.
• Analyze metrics and recommend changes
• Participate in critical problem solving and advanced troubleshooting.
• Build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Support QMS and other audits (Internal & External).
• Investigate and complete actions related to audit findings.
• Performs other responsibilities as directed by management as needed.
