OVERVIEW

Candidate will analyze customer products to help support global regulatory compliance for international companies in this entry-level scientific, non-laboratory position. RESPONSIBILITIES

Request and gather data to support global regulations

Regulatory compliance for chemical control laws.

Work closely with several Product Stewardship groups and various country subsidiaries

Help with implementing programs, processes, and procedures to assist country companies with printing registration numbers and additional safe use information downstream on Safety Data Sheets

Support several different chemical regulations.

May help facilitate raw material analytical testing and distribute existing analytical reports

There is a lot of data gathering and review so attention to detail is key

May help with some HazCom-Tox support QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science (Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science)

Minimum of two years of chemistry coursework; college chemistry through organic chemistry preferred

Coursework in Anatomy and Physiology plus a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Basic understanding of product EHS issues- one year of experience in EHS preferred

Experience with chemical databases preferred

Candidate should be a team player, highly productive, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Possess problem solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Must be flexible and willing to learn, as this position will likely support several different chemical regulations
