As part of the Information Security team, provide assistance in all activities related to information security operations and initiatives; working with other teams to design, test, and implement solutions to support Mortenson's security posture. This role will require strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of technology/integrations across all parts infrastructure and applications. Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
Respond to information security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead incidents and problems to resolution.
Lead improvements to current information security technologies including upgrades and future capability enhancements
Work with other technical staff to execute information security initiatives and projects.
Monitor information security systems for risk events and manage discovered vulnerabilities to acceptable remediations.
Perform cost and functional estimates for new technologies or current stack enhancements. Qualifications
How will you succeed?
Strong issue diagnosis and root cause analysis skills.
Strong understand of client device OS/program dependencies and builds.
Experience defining technical specifications and architecture deliverables.
Knowledge and understanding of Privileged Access Management and Security Operations.
Knowledge and understanding of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response ("SOAR")
Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting information technology toolsets.
Hands-on experience with management and deployment of detection and response toolsets.
Working knowledge of PowerShell.
In-depth technical knowledge of network technologies including firewalls, proxies, and IPS
In-depth technical knowledge of window and mac client-side antimalware agents and encryption technologies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent subject area
Minimum of 4 years of experience in an information security or technical engineering role as part of a server, client, or network team.
