Job Description:
The primary focus of this position is to provide acupuncture services to a variety of patients who suffer from conditions that are amenable to treatment with this modality. May incorporate the use of East Asian massage, acupressure, breathing techniques. Works collaboratively with the care team and other integrative therapy team members for optimal outcomes. This position may also be responsible for oversight of acupuncture student interns.
In addition to direct service delivery, the person in this position is also responsible for documenting the services provided, as well as communication with referral sources and other treating providers as needed. Provides education to patients and families as needed regarding treatment and follow through. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements include; Formal training in acupuncture and completion of a professional education program in a clinical health care specialty in the USA or abroad. 36 months of clinical experience. Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of MN
