The Account Analyst position will be held by an individual with one or more years of relevant experience in aprofessional settingor a recent graduate.

Support Account Managers by extracting, analyzing, and organizing data in accurate, concise and professional formats.

Understand and be able to work with the Kinect Energy database systems to produce existing reports and develop/create other reports as needed.

Utilize and/or develop spreadsheets, reports and existing software for analyzing and communicating energy data in effective reports.

Have the competence and confidence to work independently on projects as assigned.

Manage customer energy information. Examples include compilation of rate tariffs, initial assessment of costs, and execution of bill verifications.

Prepare monthly usage reports, load profiles, and benchmarking.

Identify availability of utility incentives and process when applicable. Research the various rebate opportunities with utilities and determine the necessary process steps to obtain rebates.

Assist Account Managers in the evaluation of changes in pricing and tariffs.

Support/assist Account Managers in researching, analyzing, and resolving customer needs. Direct communication with customers and vendors will occur on a regular basis.

Develop (under the direction of the Account Manager) and/or fine-tune (PowerPoint) presentations and/or sales proposals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Finance or other business-related discipline preferred, recent college graduates will also be considered.

General business acumen and experience in responsible positions in business for at least one year preferred, but not required.

As well as experience in the following areas:

Knowledge and/or experience in the energy industry preferred, but not required.

Problem-solving, mathematical and organizational skills

Communications skills, both written and verbal

Team player who excels at performing in a collaborative environment

Ability to manage multiple projects

Negotiating skills

Ability to think strategically about the client and find solutions to their issues

Windows-based application software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Knowledge of internal systems/processes
