As a Mental Health Technician (previously known as a Clinical Program Assistant) you will work in Fraser's preschool day treatment program supporting preschool aged children. This is a great entry level position to begin a career with Fraser and gain hands-on experience working with children! Primary Responsibilities:
Work with children in a small group therapeutic setting
Implement and track goal progress for children
Support with personal cares (e.g. diapering and feeding)


Available Locations and Schedules:

Woodbury

Bloomington (school-based site)

Coon Rapids

Richfield

Minneapolis

Eagan

Morning: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Afternoon: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

*Some of these shifts can only be separated by MWF am, MWF pm, T/Th am, T/Th pm. Please apply and we can determine a scheduling fit based on current site needs.


NOTE:The openings we have will vary by timing and location. We prioritize applicants that are seeking immediate, on-going employment with Fraser rather than seasonal employment. A great time to apply would be 4-6 weeks prior to your anticipated available start date!


Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to achieve and maintain the status of “not disqualified” upon completion of the Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Check.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must have the physical health and stamina to work on a consistent basis with children who have diverse needs
Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.


Preferred Qualifications:
Introduction to Psychology or Child Psychology college credits
Basic knowledge of child development
Previous experience with young children through babysitting, nannying, internships, PCA, child care worker, etc.
