Job Description
Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Technical Program Managerto join the Autonomous Machines team in the US. Your role is to establish and develop a machine learning pipeline that enables customers to solve real-world challenges by integrating our hardware and software platforms. Your primary responsibility will be the development of the overall architecture of the machine learning pipeline, but also provide leadership to a cross-functional team of computer vision, robotics, and software engineers. You can expect approximately up to 10% travel activity per year and sometimes your flexibility is needed as you work with a global team. The preferred candidate has experience with modern machine learning techniques and tools, project management, cross-functional team leadership, embedded control system design, and agile software development. As a person you are goal oriented, highly self-motivated, open-minded and good at interacting with others, across borders and cultures.
Job Responsibilities
* Create and drive an effective architecture for machine learning on mobile machinery * Engage key project stakeholders to ensure interoperability with current hardware and software platforms * Manage development tasks for team of engineers * Serve as technical expert and provide guidance to team * Develop technical roadmap to support go-to-market strategy * Facilitate customer field trials of new technology
Background & Skills
* Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in one of the following fields: o Computer Science o Electrical Engineering o Mechanical Engineering o Other related engineering field from an accredited college or university. * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Understanding of machines, sensors and software * Understanding of Danfoss customer base and machine applications * Solid English language skills in speaking and writing
