DevOps EngineerBCforward is currently seeking an experienced <strong>DevOps Engineer </strong>for a consulting opportunity with our client, with offices in Minneapolis, MN and the Dallas, TX area. Sorry, Visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. The DevOps Engineer will design and develop robust backend solutions for App Dev, Enterprise and end users. This role is important in creating new Enterprise DevOps standards for the entire company. This role works with Technical Leads from various agile development teams to build Quality into the SDLC.<strong>What Experience Should You Have?</strong>
<ul>
<li>At least 5 years of previous experience in .NET/SQL/JAVA software design and development (Web Application and/or Web Services) with DevOps and Agile Methodology.</li>
<li>At least 4 years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Bamboo, Jenkins or equivalent.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.</li>
<li>At least 1 year of experience in a regulated industry requiring compliance standards (SOX, SSAE-18, FERPA, HIPPA, or ISO-27001).</li>
<li>Scripting with bash/sh is a must.</li>
<li>Experience working with scripting languages such as Perl or Python and having worked in Linux/Unix environments. </li>
<li>Experience with the following tools: BitBucket pipeline, Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube, Veracode, New Relic, Vault, Jira, Confluence, Docker, Lambda, Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Must be experienced with artifact management and promotion, preferably with JFrog Artifactory.</li>
<li>Docker experience and the ability to build and deploy containers is a must.</li>
<li>Ability to redefine the existing software architecture within the org by examining the existing systems and executing new practices.</li>
<li>Designing and implementing a robust CI/CD environment using BitBucket or other leading DevOps pipelines.</li>
<li>Deploying and managing the microservices created by the development teams, using Docker and Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Experienced with Cloud Architecture, preferably with AWS.</li></ul>Additional information will be available during a follow-up discussion. <br>
