NuAire manufactures Biological Safety Cabinets, CO2 Water-Jacketed Incubators, Laminar Air Flow Equipment, Ultra Low Temperature Freezers, and variety of complementary products and systems to serve the needs of the world's laboratory community.
NuAire, Inc. is currently seeking an Assembler to perform any combination of tasks to assemble standard products using tools to drill, fit, wire and fasten with minimal tolerances.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Ability to use common hand tools and tape measures.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Duties
*Read and interpret work instructions.
*Read and interpret standard customer drawing.
*Perform standard assembly.
*Other duties as assigned.
Equipment Used
*Hand tools.
*Hand power tools.
*Pallet trucks.
*Stud gun.
Responsibility
*Work with an average amount of supervision.
*Follow instructions of lead person.
*Record time on job assignments.
*Complete job assignments on time.
*Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment.
*Perform in-process inspection.
*Perform touch-up painting on non-conforming product.
*Regular attendance and punctuality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Mathematical Skills
*Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
*Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
Reasoning Ability
*Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
*Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position is on first shift. First shift hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
