Required Skills: | • 1 year related experience; technical degree or training preferred • Possess correct and valid driver’s license for weight of vehicle assigned. • Live in geographical area which will allow timely response to calls from home after hours, as required. • Ability to safely lift 75 pounds unassisted. • Ability to sit in vehicle seat for extended periods, significant amount of driving, bending, lifting, listening to and responding to phone communications. • Successfully pass drug tests in compliance with Company Policy and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. • Must submit to and pass background check as per Company's contractual requirements. |

Job Description: |
• Perform emergency road service, towing, accident recovery, and abandoned vehicle recovery using assigned truck and towing equipment correctly as trained. • Present to the customer a professional personal and Company image through excellent service, safe equipment operation, and timeliness. • Maintain truck and equipment in a clean and ready to go status after each use. (tires, lights, brakes, gas, fluid levels etc.) • Complete necessary documentation timely and correctly according to procedures in effect. • Arrive at work on time daily, ready for duty when shift starts • Submit accurate invoices and appropriate payment on time for processing • Abide by all Federal, State, and Municipal laws, rules and ordinances and maintain a clean driving record • Attend training and achieve professional certification as directed by management • Assist in training new employees when requested • Receives calls or dispatch to location throughout day and on an on-call basis. • Cleans and removes debris from damaged vehicles off the roadway for law enforcement. • Removes, bends, or cuts parts of damaged vehicles preparatory to towing. • Performs emergency roadside repairs such as lock-outs, changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. • Ensures that vehicles are only released to authorized parties. • Close each service call by confirming satisfaction
