Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:
At least 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in quality and inspection preferred.

Position Description:

This position is a part of a work group of other co-employee owners who work as a team to inspect parts before sending to the customer. This production function ensures product meets requirements and customer specifications.

Job Duties:
• Manually inspect the product, measuring the ID, OD, coil heights, lead lengths, and stack dimensions, verifying the product is within specification.
• Visually inspect the product for any damage or FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
• Conduct electrical testing of product which may include di-electric strength, surge, inductance, resistance, rotation, insulation resistance, capacitance, Back EMF values, and Corona testing.
• Complete documentation of product which may include serialization, completing test forms, scanning inspection data, electro etch, and maintaining traceability documents.
• Submit Engineer Change Orders, Exception Reports, Tooling Requests, and recording all necessary inspection data using the computer,
• Train and assist other team members in learning new skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and wear required PPE.
• Work under magnification as needed or required per customer and quality requirements.
• Daily awareness and commitment to the FOD (Foreign Object Debris) requirements to prevent damage from all types of foreign objects, providing secure storage and protecting product.
• Work with Engineering to troubleshoot and problem solve. Recognizing when to stop and ask questions and suggesting solutions.
• Continuously learn new skills and apply regulatory procedures to work effectively.
• Maintain all customer expectations and follow work instructions precisely.
• As required, work with customers, auditors, and source inspectors during visits.
• Show up and be on time to work.
• Other duties as assigned.
