Job Description: |
Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work for Johnson Payroll Joint Venture in Warren, MN. From: 04/25/2021 to 11/15/2021 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day
JOB DUTIES: Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops of Sugar Beets, Spring Wheat, Soy Beans, and Corn. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment: semi tractors, smaller frame John Deere tractors, large John Deere track tractors, Amity sugar beet harvest equipment, Pickups, Brock grain dryers and bins, John Deere 36 row planters, John Deere combines and grain carts. Working overtime and holidays is not mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-90 days of hire. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Work requires extensive pushing, pulling and sitting, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements. Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employer's expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
