Company Description

A large co-op in Goshen, IN is seeking a maintenance worker for their second shift. This maintenance job is a great opportunity that offers a variety of tasks.

Hours: 2 pm - 10 pm, Monday - Friday (work on a rotation 5 or 6 day schedule)

Pay: $23.24/hr.

Job Description

Job duties of the maintenance worker position:

- Assist management to ensure that all preventative maintenance work orders are completed according to schedule

- Assist with everyday maintenance issues and repairs

- Repair and maintain all plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, compressors, and production equipment

- Provide guidance and support to other team members

- Assist in the development of maintenance department shift schedules and attendance

- Oversee addressing of elevated issues

- Ensure daily jobs and work order assignments reflect appropriate priorities

- Ensure the maintenance team has a good understanding of work practices and procedures

- Maintain and order repair and maintenance parts, supplies, tools, and equipment

- Develop, implement, and support preventative maintenance programs

- Provide daily status information to leadership

- Dedicate effort to safety as every employee is expected to leave work in the same condition as when they arrive

- Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

- Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
