OVERVIEW









Provide general regulatory guidance as it applies to our clients' products: TSCA, Global registrations/inventories, GHS, HazCom labels, Prop 65, etc.Researches, authors, and reviews chemical hazard assessments or profiles, product risk assessments, regulatory submissions, and life cycle assessments.

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (with the possibility to grow to full-time)

RESPONSIBILITIES









Prepare or technically review documents including SDSs, labels, REACH documents, LCAs, and risk/hazard assessments
Advise clients on subjects that may include premarket regulatory requirements, export control labeling, or clinical study compliance

Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions

Conduct global regulatory reviews and provide regulatory support for specific chemical regulations

Write work instruction policies and develop training to be distributed to other staff members






QUALIFICATIONS









Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science

Plus 2-5 years experience in chemical regulatory field

Ability to interpret local, national, and international chemical regulations; ability to quickly find a regulation source for support

Knowledge of test methods and ability to interpret chemical test data to determine test reliability

Independently works within specific computer programs and databases

Ability to independently solve problems

Manage multiple projects and clients, including project setup and data collection

Motivated, efficient self-starter, skilled in time management

Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills
