DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Be trained on and retain instruction on all assembly processes and quality standards.
Assembles and packages all sub-assemblies/finished goods as trained with the use of small hand tools, packaging equipment, and other assembly aides.
Work responsibly & cost effectively minimizing waste, scrap, and performing tasks in an efficient manner.
Always maintain a high standard of quality by staying focused and using the appropriate production documents, i.e. work instructions, BOMs, etc.
Have the ability to label (correct ID), count, and track production quantities.
Timely and effective communication with coworkers and management in order to address any problems, needs, issues that arise, or offer ideas for process improvements.
Contribute to a positive work environment and employee moral through cooperation, flexibility, teamwork, and respect for all.
Adhere to all departmental rules and policies in terms of attendance & timeliness.
Follow all safety rules & procedures, i.e. use of PPE, work in an ergonomic manner, proper use of tools/equip., proper lifting techniques, communicate any hazardous/injurious conditions to management, etc.
Maintains proper housekeeping, aisles clear, and work areas well organized throughout the shift.
Follow all Environmental policies such as the Recycling, Hazardous Waste, and Energy Conservation Programs.
Perform any reasonable request of management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, and counting
Ability to follow instructions
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or GED
Special Job Requirements:
Ability to stand for entire shift
Be available to work overtime as required
