| Required Skills: | Minimum requirements are:
Maintenance Worker II: Salary Range $18.15-$23.05
•High School Diploma or GED and
•One year of post-secondary education in heavy equipment operation, and
•Four years of related experience, and
•Possession of a valid Class A CDL or Class B CSL with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months of hire.
•(Two additional years of heavy equipment experience may be substituted for the formal training.)
Maintenance Worker III: Salary Range $20.41-$25.89•High School Diploma or GED and
•One year of post-secondary education in heavy equipment operation, and
•Six years of related experience, and
•Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
•(Two additional years of heavy equipment experience may be substituted for the formal training.)
Job offer contingent upon successfully passing drug screening, physical, and background check. |

| Job Description: |
Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for two (2) Highway Maintenance Worker II or Maintenance Worker III. The current openings are full-time benefited positions. One will be assigned to work at the Bemidji Highway Shop and one will be assigned to work at the Blackduck Shop. Responsibilities include heavy equipment operation, heavy truck driving, snow plowing and related road work.
Performs intermediate skilled trades work repairing and maintaining streets, culverts, shoulders, and related facilities, operating heavy equipment, performing snow removal and ice control activities, sweeping and patching streets, performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Highway Maintenance Supervisor.
