| Job Description: |
Spherion Staffing is currently seeking an Order Filler to help fill orders in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will be able to work in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
-Must be able to read orders, identify and pull product (type, quantity and color), in assigned sequence correctly.
-Must use established double check procedures to verify orders as they are picked.
-Must have/maintain accuracy in product picked and documentation filled out.
-Must have physical strength to handle product. Bundles range in length from 10? to 16?-6?. Bundle weight will vary from 10 lbs. to 80 lbs. Use two person lift were applicable.
-Bundles will be carried to stretch wrap machine and run through for protection.
-Must attach correct trim labels to product and place in correct staging locations.
-Stock inbound product in the correct warehouse locations on a regular basis.
-Must have ability to work without direct supervision.
-Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
-Must keep accessory area neat and tidy. Including emptying garbage cans and restocking any returned products that may arrive on our trailers.
-Must be able to stand/work/walk for 8-12 hrs on concrete floors each day
-Follow all safety guidelines as established by Metal Sales Manufacturing and/or management.
-Must be willing to do other projects and tasks as directed by Supervision.
