Education:
High School Education
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Experience:
3 + years of successful project superintendent work in the commercial construction industry for a general contractor.
Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:
Strong organizational skills
Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employees effective listening skills
Analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs
Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities

| Job Description: |
RJM Construction is a fast growing, high energy, commercial general contracting company headquartered in Golden Valley, Minnesota. We invest in our people and attract, develop and retain talented professionals in roles where they can make an impact, as well as grow personally and professionally.
As our Superintendent, you will be responsible to run the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule of the project. Responsible for quality control and coordination of subcontractor’s tasks. Work closely with the project manager to ensure project success.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
• Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with
quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
• Maintain construction schedules, identifies and solves problems
• Order materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
• Understand the project plans and specifications
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
• Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list
• Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job hazards immediately
• Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to safety policies
• Maintain an organized job site, including the construction office or work area
