Required Skills:
Qualifications: Transferrable experience with tools or application of skillset. Must understand proper use of measuring tools/gauges and hand/air/power tools. Strong math skills a plus. Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
Preferred Skills:
Welding Applicants qualification and job requirements:
• Please indicate on your application which welding techniques you are familiar with such as mig, tig, arch, push pull and spray arch welding.
• Please indicate if you have experience with steel, aluminum, stainless, and/or a combination of metal fabrication.

Job Description:
Established manufacturing company in Blue Earth MN since 1963. We manufacture steel and aluminum truck bodies and hoists for a variety of industry needs i.e. agriculture, construction, landscaping etc.

We are looking for technicians with experience or transferrable skill sets to work in the fabrication shops. If you have any experience with aluminum and steel manufacturing please apply. If you have any transferrable experience in manufacturing please apply.

Expectations: Timeliness, work competence, and collaboration with department leads and coworkers to produce quality product on schedule. Continually attain, and maintain knowledge related to our industry. Applicants must understand and comply with all safety requirements and cautions.

• Work from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints; performs standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tolerances, and tooling.
• Use a variety of equipment such as press breaks, drill presses, plasma cutter, punch press, and both common and specialty hand/air/power tools.
• Understanding of a variety of assembly processes such as bolting, riveting, welding, and hucking.
• Forklift operation (if applicable to the position)
