Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is required.
A minimum of three years of experience working as a Human Resource professional.
Previous experience with HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including, employee relations, recruiting, talent management, and federal and state employment laws.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity, fair-mindedness and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
Demonstrates initiative and flexibility to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities.
Ability to think creatively and comfortable being hands-on in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
Demonstrates ability to complete a project and meet deadlines.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Description:
The Human Resources Generalist will work as part of a three person HR Department supporting over 250 employees globally. This hands-on role will be responsible for performing key HR initiatives, providing support in various areas such as benefits, HRIS administration, recruiting and employee relations.

Major Areas of Accountability:

Performs and supports a wide variety of HR assignments including, but not limited to employee relations, compensation, benefit & leave administration, training, staffing, organizational development and employee satisfaction.
Full-cycle recruitment for exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees including (e.g. job postings, phone interviews, schedule manager interviews)
Oversees the on-boarding process of a new hire to include processing new hire paperwork, setting up system’s access, coordinating onboarding plan, and reviewing company policies and procedures with new hire.
Provides guidance to employees and managers in the interpretation and execution of company policies and various employment laws.
Monitors and coordinates performance appraisal programs. Facilitates review processes and trains employees on performance appraisal system.
Participates in benefit plan design and reviews benefit offerings for employees. Approve and process benefit transactions for new hires, terminations, qualifying events and open enrollment into HRIS and vendor portals as required.
Update employee information as needed (new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.). This includes maintaining employee records to ensure receipt of all required paperwork.
Assists with compliance and reporting in all areas such as Affirmative Action, EEO-1, discrimination testing, ACA, FMLA, ADA, and Workers Compensation.
Supports and maintains Circuit Check’s HR processes and standard operating procedures including the company’s employee handbook.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Works with HR Manager on responding to management and employee relation issues by investigating and appropriate follow up.
Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to drive &/or lead change. Facilitates change management initiatives as needed.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Reviews payroll and acts as back up for processing payroll using ADP WFN.
Participates in developing department goals and objectives.
May conduct audits of HR processes and recommend corrective actions.
Provide administrative support as needed.
