Job Description: |
Chemical Dependency Technician - Focus XII:
Central MN Mental Health Center has two available opportunities in our Focus XII program for a Part-time Chemical Dependency Technician (CD Tech). The CD Technician provides ongoing support and supervision to clients. The Duties may include but are not limited to:
Report changes in client's physical and mental health to RN, Program Coordinator or their Counselor
Monitor client behaviors - provide therapeutic intervention when required.
Respond to residents' questions and concerns on an as needed basis
Administrative duties - including but not limited to monitoring and documentation of prescribed client medications
Attend quarterly staff meetings and trainings
Work Schedule: primarily every other weekend; 16hrs per pay period with the ability to pick up shifts as available.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age and free of problematic substance use (for a minimum of one year) and remain free of chemical use problems as a condition of ongoing employment
Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Maintain current CPR certification
