| Required Skills: | Job Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and Mental Health Practitioner status as defined by MN Statute.
Job Related Experience: Two (2) years. At least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to children with emotional disturbances or 6,000 hours without a Bachelors Degree (Mental Health Practitioner status). |

| Job Description: |
The Catholic Charities Day Programs Mental Health Practitioner is responsible to carry out the clinical program as outlined in the Treatment Plan for Day Students in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Major Job Responsibilities:
• Carries out skills counseling with students as outlined by a mental health professional.
• Completes all documentation and communication within the established timelines and guidelines.
• Maintains professional relationships with community resources and providers to collaborate with and refer students to as appropriate.
• Participates in required program functions including staff meetings, supervisory sessions and Circle of Courage. Provides direct supervision to clients.
• Initiates professional development by participating in internal and external training and development opportunities.
