Director of Nursing Department: Central Location: St. Cloud, MN START YOUR APPLICATION Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions) + Train, Support, and Lead direct reports in your department and all RS-s. + Training + Medication Administration (full curriculum and QC) + Medication Assistance + Medical Treatment + Medication Management for 245D + Assisting residents with health needs (Supportive Housing) + Medication delivery/pickup process + New programming + Smoking cessation + Etc- + Service Interruption (hospital/jail/etc-) - how to stop meds and reinstate meds during a Service Interruption. + Quality assurance + Training supervisors how to manage the program/process for nursing dept. + MARS audits completed monthly + Medication issue support + Psychotropic Meds - PRNs - Compliance + MDH sites-compliance. Benton-ensure site is in compliance) + Call tree for medical emergencies that the Nursing Director participates in. + Ensure all employees sign off on their understanding before their first shift. + Tracking use of emergency resources + Ensure 3 MAR checks per month completed by Response Team + Health and wellness coaching + Training and assisting supervisors with creating health and wellness goals and lifestyle + Consulting + Review pre-intake cases and give feedback on how Bridges can best serve the individual + Complete tasks assigned and follow-ups + Follow up that all necessary information is received from teams prior to arrival + Within the first 45 days of new intake ensure medication and any medical equipment is being stored and used properly at site + Consult on medical related situations that occur throughout Bridges + Scheduling time to consult on medical-related situations + Consulting with Bridges team when any change in condition or new intake occurs to ensure Bridges is looking at the situation from a medical perspective. + Medication assistance and Guardian Pharmacy issues + Consulting directly with medical staff at hospitals and clinics on behalf of residents and Bridges MN + Growing the Bridges MN Medical Offerings + On a continual basis grow the services that we are able to offer as a company. + Medical supplies bulk ordering + Guardian Pharmacy Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities). + Must be unrestricted licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse, and maintain current unencumbered licensure. + Must have a Valid Drivers License, if driving is required. + At least 3 years experience in related field. + Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with varied levels of employees. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships. + Ability to take initiative and work autonomously, as appropriate, once an instruction is given. + Ability to establish and contribute to a high degree of teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups. + Exhibits current working knowledge of federal, state, local regulations/laws.
