| Job Description: |
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for Warehouse Team Leads for Bluestem Brands - a leading distribution center in our local area.
What will put you ahead of the rest:
• Previous experience in a leadership role in a production, retail or food industry setting
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, lead and train people
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Schedules Available:
• 1st shift: 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday, overtime opportunities available as early as 5AM start time
• 2nd shift: 3:30PM-Midnight Sunday-Thursday, overtime opportunities available working as late as 1:30AM
*During busy season (mid-November through December), 10-12 hour shifts possible, weekends are expected.
Leadership Responsibilities:
• Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the packaging of goods
• Communicate with other Supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
• Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures
• Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked
• Conduct employee orientations and training
• Communicate job expectations, coach and discipline as needed
• Utilize company database and email to coordinate with other supervisors and track employee productivity
• Enforce safety regulations
Compensation:
• $15-$17+/hour
