Immediate Supervisor: Liquor Store Manager
Starting Pay Rate: $12.48 per hourCurrent Pay Range: $12.48 to $16.97 per hour
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Northbound Liquor Store, 19348 Evans Street, Elk River and Westbound Liquor Store, 13484 185th Street, Elk River
Essential Functions
+ Performs cashier duties.
A. Greets customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.B. Rings up sales in accordance with all applicable laws pertaining to alcohol sales.C. Helps customers select beer, liquor, and wine items.
2. Performs inventory management activities.
A. Moves merchandise and stock, unloads deliveries, moves stock to and from the storeroom.B. Stocks merchandise on shelves, in coolers, and on displays.
3. Performs other essential job duties.
A. Performs miscellaneous maintenance duties to maintain a clean store and orderly merchandise appearance.B. Completes alcohol compliance certification and recertifications as needed.C. Gains knowledge of products sold.D. Regular and timely work attendance. E. Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Skill in operating a cash register.
+ Ability to quickly and accurately make change.
+ Ability to communicate with the public.
+ Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.
+ Ability to attend seminars and classes as directed.
+ Ability to work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must be at least 21 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Retail cashier experience.
+ Knowledge of beer, liquor, and wine items.
+ Municipal Liquor Store experience.

Work ScheduleQualified candidates will be available to work Monday through Friday beginning at 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and all day Saturdays and Sundays, and on holidays. Hours will vary from approximately 15 to 20 hours each week.
