Company Information:
Aliron International, Inc. provides staffing and management solutions for the federal government. Specifically, Aliron has skillfully directed and managed the logistical and administrative responsibilities required to staff hundreds of employees for the Department of Defense and other federal agencies across nineteen different time zones at secure installations around the world.
Aliron is in need of an APRN for one of our clients in St. Cloud, MN.
Duties and Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
+ Providing patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans in accordance with statutes, regulations and protocols regulating the profession.
+ Collaborating with the staff psychiatrist, the nursing staff and technical personnel, as well as the counselors at the VA and outside local counselors.
+ Providing psychiatric health services, education, counseling and emotional support.
+ Referring patients for inpatient care, in collaboration with the staff psychiatrist, as necessary.
+ Issuing of medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines.
+ Ordering of laboratory tests, interprets and explains the test results to patients.
+ Providing patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits and reasonable outcome expectations.
+ Communicating with patients and engages in follow-up as necessary.
+ May also provide primary medical care services as indicated, in accordance with statues, regulations and protocols regulating the profession.
Additional Information:
+ The general assignment will be five (5) days per week but may change depending on workload.
+ The normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm., with a ½ hour non-paid lunch break. Federal holidays are excluded from normal work schedule hours of operation.
+ Contract provider will generally work (8) hours per day (40) hours per week.
+ The Clinical Director for Mental Health Services, or designee, will provide the work assignments for these positions and will provide clinical direction.
+ Patients must be seen by a contractor's physician(s) on-site.
+ Patients must be seen within 60 minutes of the page when medically indicated .
Job Requirements :
+ APRN must have experience in adult or geropsychiatry. Graduate Psychiatric APRN with post-graduate residencies in adult or geropsychiatry preferred.
+ Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) ANA Certified in Psychiatry-Mental Health from an accredited school by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission is preferred.
+ BLS Certification Required
+ Must have US Citizenship
+ Must have updated TB tests, MEASLES, MUMPS, & RUBELLA TESTING, VARICELLA, ACELLULAR PERTUSSIS, INFLUENZA.
